Our Delivery Drivers are the final link between sales and the customer enjoying their purchase. Proper handling and moving of the product is crucial to the ultimate customer experience. We want our Delivery Teams to treat each product like they own it while taking exceptional care of our customers home. We provide all the training necessary. Our trucks and equipment are new and our teams are committed to safety. These three words best describe our goal; INSPIRE…SURPRISE…AMAZE!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performs the loading, unloading, unboxing and assembly of merchandise.
• Performs the installation including hooking product up to power sources including electricity, water, gas and in some cases low voltage.
• Performs basic usage instructions to customer.
• Practices safe and secure material handling methods and take ever effort not to create any damage to the customers home.
• Verifies correct model/serial numbers are loaded and installed into the correct homes.
• Practices safe and secure loading methods.
• Reports errors or damages to supervisor.
• Completes all documentation neatly and accurately.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently
Physical Demands:
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand , push, pull and lift cartons weighing approximately 50 – 100+ lbs. repetitively
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous material handling experience preferred
